SNAKE RIVER JUNCTION Alpine, Wyoming

Dubbe~Moulder Architects is providing master planning services and subsequent architectural design of structures for all aspects of this mixed-use development in Alpine, Wyoming. Initially, DMA set-up and conducted public workshops to ascertain the needs of the community so as to make the highest and best use of this 43 acre development. From the data compiled at those meetings, DMA created a program to be used in the Master Planning Phase which resulted in a development including commercial, residential and mixed-use buildings. Dubbe~Moulder Architects has designed the entire site to provide space for large commercial pads along the exterior of the property, a downtown “street” area of smaller, denser commercial units, space allotted for a recreation center and museum, as well as a variety of multiple family living units in the back of the property overlooking the Snake River. The design incorporates parking and vehicular circulation, along with open space that includes recreation areas, walking paths and ponds. Structures for this development are currently in the construction document phase, with construction of the large commercial units and residential six-plex units to commence in the Summer of 2006.
