The existing house was an out of plumb, level and square log home originally constructed in the 1970’s. Aside from the addition of new square footage, special attention was placed on the interiors as well. The existing log walls were stained dark and the finishes and furnishings were hardly updated since the original construction. The logs were cob-blasted and sanded to reveal their original light blonde color. Fresh, new materials were introduced such as cherry cabinets, stainless steel countertops and appliances as well as intelligently designed nooks and crannies throughout the home.
