The Pineglen Subdivision is a 42 acre parcel which has a balance of open meadows and a dense pine forest. The main focus of DMA was to capitalize on the natural resources the site had available by protecting them and integrating them into the design of the 10 lot subdivision. Various features had to be identified, categorized and delineated on a site plan in order for DMA to create an overall site design that not only worked around wetlands, steep slopes and specific vegetation, but also allowed for effective vehicular access and navigation, property access and realistic developable space. The result is a subdivision with 10 unique single family lots varying in size from 3-5 acres. Each lot is able to accommodate a 5,000 to 6,000 square foot home, a guesthouse and a barn along with different amenities as well as a sense of privacy.
