PRIVATE RESIDENCE: Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This single-level home, designed for the clients' advancing ages, has a formal environment yet is still warm and inviting. The light, monotone interior shows off the detailing in each room’s woodwork and especially the cove lighting in the living room and gallery. Sunny fabrics selected by the homeowner and burnished wood floors create a home with warm yet elegant appeal.

Dubbe-Moulder Architect’s also designed all of the detailing, woodwork and built-in cabinetry throughout the home, including the classical fireplace surround in the den, kitchen cabinets and moldings and trim. This attention to detail subtly enhances the formal and timeless feel of the home.

A well-planned kitchen was very important to the owners, and the resulting design functions smoothly by providing easy serving to the formal dining room, and a breakfast nook for relaxed family meals. The entire project was a pleasure to be involved in due to the wonderful clients and the opportunity to do something a little more out of the ordinary in the rustic environs of Wyoming.
