PRIVATE RESIDENCE: Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Nestled in a grove of mature cottonwood and aspen trees along the Snake River, with its low sweeping lines, the house seems to spring from the earth. The careful use of stone, heavy plank siding with synthetic chinking between, and wall shingles add to the overall composition and visually breaks up the form.

The floor plan radiates from a central staircase directing guests to different parts of the home, each direction offering a unique viewpoint. The use of wood paneling on the interior walls and ceilings adds visual warmth to the home. The kitchen has an open floor plan allowing for ease of entertaining. The celadon green cabinets and tile floor break up the wood paneling and logs accents. The warm and inviting home has many rustic details however it also combines many contemporary features giving the home a unique look unto itself.
